Book a Pharmacy First Plus (Scotland) appointment with one of our Independent Prescribing Pharmacists for the assessment and treatment of eligible common clinical conditions through this NHS-funded service.

During your appointment, we will:

* Discuss your symptoms and medical history.
* Carry out a clinical assessment where appropriate.
* Provide self-care advice and safety-netting.
* Supply or prescribe appropriate treatment where clinically indicated.
* Refer you to another healthcare professional if required.

Conditions that may be managed include (where eligible):

* Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
* Impetigo
* Infected Insect Bites
* Shingles
* Ear Infection
* Sinusitis
* Sore Throat
* Other conditions covered by the NHS Pharmacy First Plus (Scotland) service.

Please note: This is an NHS-funded service available to eligible patients in Scotland. Treatment is provided following a clinical assessment and only where it is considered safe, appropriate and within the service criteria. If your condition is not covered by Pharmacy First Plus, we will provide appropriate advice or refer you to another healthcare professional where necessary.

Private Vaccination – Administration (FROM £55)

This appointment is for the administration of private vaccines following an initial consultation, or for patients who have already been assessed and know which vaccine they require.

During your appointment, we will:

• Confirm your identity and vaccination requirements.
• Review any changes to your medical history or current medication.
• Ensure it is safe and appropriate to administer your vaccine(s).
• Administer the agreed vaccine(s).
• Provide aftercare advice and discuss any expected side effects.

This appointment may be suitable for vaccines including:

* Shingles
* Chickenpox
* Meningitis
* HPV
* RSV
* Other private vaccinations

Travel Service - Initial Appointment

During your appointment, we will:

• Review your travel itinerary, destinations and planned activities.
• Assess your medical history, current medication and vaccination status.
• Discuss recommended travel vaccines, malaria prevention and other travel health precautions.
• Provide personalised advice to help reduce health risks while travelling.
• Develop a travel health plan tailored to your trip.

Please note: Vaccinations and prescription medicines may require a separate appointment or additional charge. Any treatment or vaccination will only be provided where clinically appropriate following assessment.

During your follow-up appointment, your Independent Prescribing Pharmacist will:

• Review your progress and weight loss goals.
• Assess your response to treatment and any side effects.
• Discuss lifestyle, diet and physical activity.
• Determine whether your current treatment remains safe and appropriate.
• Make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan, including dose changes where clinically indicated.

Please note: Ongoing prescribing is subject to regular clinical review and will only continue where treatment remains safe, appropriate and effective.

Weight Management Initiation (FROM £134)
